What should you be careful of?
ā-ablative singular 1st declension=ends in ā (can be mistaken for nominative)
Examples: bello confecto? (Participle/translation-literal and natural)
Perfect passed participle
Literal-with the war having been finished
Natural-when the was had been finished/was over
Examples: consule ingresso? (Participle/translation-literal and natural)
Perfect Participle
Literal-with the consul having entered
Natural-when the consul (had) entered
Examples: fele absente? (Participle/translation-literal and natural)

Literal-with the cat being absent
Natural-when the cat is away
