Adaptability
Powers up moves of the same type. (Gives 2x STAB instead of 1.5x STAB.)
Aerilate
Normal-type moves become Flying-type moves.
Aftermath
Damages the foe landing the finishing hit. (Does 25% damage to the attacker who KOs the user.)
Air Lock*
Eliminates the effects of weather. *Rayquaza
Analytic
Strengthens moves when moving last. (Move power is increased 30%.)
Anger Point
Raises Attack upon taking a critical hit. (Gives a +6 boost to Atk.)
Anticipation
Senses the foe’s dangerous moves. (Alerts the user if the foe has a super-effective attack.)
Arena Trap
Prevents the foe from fleeing. (Doesn’t work on Flying-type Pokemon or those with Levitate.)
Aroma Veil
Protects allies from attacks that limit their move choices. (Prevents effects of Taunt, Torment, Encore, Disable, Heal Block and Attract.) *Spritzee/Aromatisse
Aura Break*
The effects of “Aura” Abilities are reversed. (Fairy Aura and Dark Aura will instead decrease the power of Fairy and Dark moves, respectively, by 33% as long as the Pokémon with Aura Break remains on the field.) *Zygarde
Bad Dreams*
Reduces a sleeping foe’s HP. (HP is reduced 1/8 of the foe’s maximum HP.) *Darkrai
Battle Armor
The Pokémon is protected against critical hits.
Big Pecks
Protects the Pokémon from Defense-lowering attacks.
Blaze
Powers up Fire-type moves in a pinch. (Fire-type attacks’ power is increased by 1.5× if the user has less than or equal to ⅓ of its maximum HP remaining.)
Bulletproof
Protects the Pokémon from some ball and bomb moves. (Prevents Acid Spray, Aura Sphere, Barrage, Bullet Seed, Egg Bomb, Electro Ball, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Gyro Ball, Ice Ball, Magnet Bomb, Mist Ball, Mud Bomb, Octazooka, Rock Wrecker, Searing Shot, Seed Bomb, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Weather Ball, and Zap Cannon.)
