3-4.4cm small (rescan every 12 months)
4.5-5.4cm medium (rescan every 3 months)
Greater than 5.5cm large (refer 2 week pathway)

Signs and symptoms of AAA rupture? (5)
A
Abdo and back pain (ripping) Syncope Vomiting Haemodynamically unstable with pulsatile abdominal mass Hypotension

Manager of AAA rupture? (4)
A
ABCDE
Activate major haemorrhage and refer to local vascular unit
If patient is stable do CT angio
If unstable, to theatre
