atrial fibrillation - an irregular heart rhythm that begins in your heart’s upper chambers (atria) when the atria beats out of coordination with the bottom two chambers of your heart (ventricles). This leads to a rapid and irregular heart rhythm

atrial flutter - a type of abnormal heart rhythm, or arrhythmia, caused by your atria receiving organised electrical signals, but the signals are faster than normal. The atria beat more frequently than the ventricles.
