Advanced Audio Compression. Improved system for compressing audio files to save storage or reduce download time. Used for files in the iTunes store. Sacrifices a little less quality than MP3 compression.

A

(Author’s Alterations) Also known as ACs, Author’s Corrections. Changes in copy or artwork after it has been typeset. Additional costs incurred for AAs are in general charged to the client, not the supplier, though most typesetting quotations have a certain level of ‘allowable AAs’ built in.
