  4. Let go of door, power assist should take over. Otherwise push door manually until locked against fuselage
  5. Hold fixed part of aircraft (if possible) and pull manual inflation handle found on door threshold. Bend knees, stay low.
  6. Assess slide inflation and condition
  7. Take protective position
  8. Initiate evacuation
