A LEGACY is something that is passed down as a result of something or someone in the past. (noun)
The LEGACY of slavery is continuing racial inequality in our society.
LEGISLATION
The act or process of making laws is called LEGISLATION. (noun)
The new LEGISLATION protects women’s rights.
MODIFICATION
MODIFICATION is a small change to something such as a design, plan, or system. (noun)
The plan could not be completed without MODIFICATION.
NOTABLY
NOTABLY is used to specify a typical example of something. (adverb)
