“Sie möchte Deutsch lernen. Deswegen wohnt sie jestzt in Berlin.”
“She’d like to learn German. That’s why she now lives in Berlin.”
“Mir geht’s gut. Ich bin neu hier!”
“I’m good. I’m new here!”
“Fliegen ist echt anstrengend. Ist es dein erstes Mal in Deutschland?”
“Flying is really exhausting. Is it your first time in Germany?”
“Ich bin heir um Deutsch zu lernen. Ich spreche schon ein bisschen Deutsch, aber noch nicht genug.”
“I’m here to learn German. I already speak some German, but not enough yet.”
“Weißt du, was wir sagen? Wir sagen: Deutsche Sprache, schwere Sprache.”
Do you know what we say? We say German language, difficult language.
“Das stimmt! Danke dir!”
“That’s true! Thank you!”
“Woher kommst du eigentlich?”
“Where are you from, by the way?”
“Gefällt dir Deutschland?”
“Do you like Germany?”
“Manchmal ja und manchaml nein. Ich bin aber glücklich hier zu sein. Das Leben ist einfach.”
“Sometimes yes and sometimes no. But I’m happy to be here. Life is easy.”
“Was machst du? Studierst du oder arbeitest du?”
“What do you do? Are you studying or are you working?”
“Ich arbeite jeden Tag im Büro. Ich brauche das Geld.”
“I work in the office everyday. I need the money.”
“Hast du Lust etwas essen zu gehen? Danach mache ich erstmal Mittagsschlaf.”
“Would you like to go eat something? Afterwards, I’ll first have to take a nap.”
“Einen Moment bitte. Ich muss noch etwas fertig machen.”
“One moment please. I still have to finish something.”
“Wollen wir uns im Restaurant treffen?”
“Shall we meet in the restaurant?”
“Entschuldige, wie heißt du eigentlich?”
“I’m sorry, what’s your name by the way?”
“Schön dich kennenzulernen.”
“Nice to meet you.”
