Where the last word of one clause is repeated as the first word of the following clause.
Eg fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate.
Epiphora
Eaten….eaten…eaten - repetition at end of sentence
Anaphora
The repetition of the first part of the sentence.
Eg Now and then, now it happens, now….
Synthetic personalisation
Address mass audience as if they’re mass individuals.
Tautology
Saying things more than once.
Eg i need a new hot water heater.
The evening sunset was beautiful.
Parallelism
Carefully contrasted metaphors.
