BUT if you can look back during your rumble and see that YOU DIDN’T HOLD BACK, THAT YOU WERE ALL IN, you will feel very different than someone who didn’t fully show up.

Stakeholders over product. If people feel safe they’ll speak up if they aren’t sure the boss tightened the airplane bolt. Or if they’ve completed their work correctly because they’re afraid the boss thinks they need to hurry up toast

Difference between listening and hearing
Hearing— we absorb sound, interpret it, and understand it. But listening is a whole-body process that happens between two people that makes the other person truly feel heard.

Self Talk in 3rd person is
a great way to calm nerves. She has this down and she’s just going to have a conversation with some nice people.
Breathing is especially important when you’re listening to a question

This stimulates the VAGUS nerve and induces relaxation.
by taking slow breaths through the nose, and focusing on belly expansion with inhalation
Imagining HOW you want to be perceived
Imagining aids in self-connection & relieves anxiety
