Cystic Fibrosis - what is it?
Genetic disease caused by mutations in gene called cystic fibrosis trans-membrane conductance regulator gene. Muscus is normally slippery which protects the lining of airways, GI, and tissues. Pts w/CF make thick, sticky mucus that builds up and leads to blockage

Rare condition which groups of immune cells form granulomas in organs. Triggered by infections or expose to certain substances
