Vertigo
Is the abnormal sense of equilibrium that occurs when one perceives movement that isn’t happening
Vertigo can be linked to
abnormalities in inner ear regions (especially semicircular canals), middle ear pressure, multiple sclerosis, medications, head trauma, alcohol/drugs or trauma to brain regions associated with equilibrium
Tinnitus
is the abnormal perception of sound or ‘ringing in ears’; it is sometimes called ‘phantom noise’ because it involves sensation of sound that isn’t there.
Tinnitus can be due
aging, meningitis, medications, otitis, cardiovascular issues, head trauma
Otitis

The middle ear including the cavity and structures between tympanic membrane and membranous windows, auditory tube.
Otitis interna affects
The inner ear which encompass the sensory organs.
Pathological nystagmus
Is involuntary and/or unstimulated tracking eye movements caused by inappropriate equilibrium information.
Pathological nystagmus may be
Caused by genetic mutation of inner ear structures, ear/brain damage during surgery, alcohol/drugs, head trauma among other causes
Cataract
Is the clouding of lens leading to blurry/loss of vision
Risk factors of cataracts include
Aging, diabetes, smoking, and UV light
Glaucoma
Is the death of retinal neurons.
