- Fairy Queen meets Puck (servant of the Fairy king)
- Fairy king and Queen accuse eachother for their unfaithfulness
- Oberon demands Titania to hand him the changling boy: Titania refuses
- Oberon instructs Puck to find a magic flower for revenge

- Demetrius comes to the woods to find Hermia
- Oberon sees Demetrius and Helena and have pitty on Helena
- Decides to make Demetrius fall in love with Helena
- Puck mistakenly puts the juice on Lysander’s eyes (thinking he is Demetrius) and he falls in love with Helena
- Helena thinks that he is mocking her
- Hermia wakes up from the nightmare and is shocked to find Lysander missing

- Bottom’s friends flee in terror
- Titania sees Bottom and falls in love with him because of the love juice
