He says “ nay, uncle, but you never came to see me before that happened. Why give it as a reason for not coming now” he is saying, you have nothing to lose no strings attached
 why is Scrooge alone at school? What does this reveal about his family?
His parents are not very involved, giving him a hard childhood
How did Scrooge cope with loneliness as a child?
He read books. He would meet exotic characters in his books.
What happens at Fezziwig warehouse?
He tells his employees to stop work, cleanup, set up, and start celebrating. The guest arrive, and they all spend the night dancing and partying.
“ a small matter… to make these silly folks full of gratitude” why does the spirit say this and how does Scrooge respond?
He wants him to understand that Fezziwig is taking a little that he has to bring joy to others trying to show Scrooge. It does not take a lot to bring joy.
Who is the girl in the morning dress? What clue in the text helps you infer who she is
She is Scrooge’s fiancé, she broke their relationship, because Scrooge was greedy
What causes Scrooge does suddenly think of his nephew
His nephew is only living family. He sees his nephew and thinks of his dead sister.
What causes screw to suddenly think of his clerk?
He sees Fessick and remembers his kindness
How is the ghost of Christmas present different from the last ghost? What kind of personality does this ghost have?
This ghost is more jolly, fun, louder, and more personable
Where does the ghost of Christmas present take Scrooge 1st
 he takes him to the streets of London, where everyone is preparing for the festivities. He is showing him the joy of Christmas.
