Example:
“Zombies eat brains, you’re safe.”

Certain aspects of a subject are exaggerated for a silly effect
Example: Bosch painted “Icarus” in which Icarus is insignificant and tiny and crashes into the sea and nobody notices
lampoon
Form of vicious satire attacking a person, institution or activity
example: The tv show Saturday Night Live that lampoons US presidents
parody
Imitation of a style for comedic effect
example: tv show “Vampires Suck” parodies the “Twilight” movies
hyperbole
Deliberately exaggerating to create a heightened effect
example:
“Taste the rainbow” Skittles slogan
travesty
Grossly distorted imitation
example :
A movie is an absolute travesty of what happened in the book.
