Clinical, radiographic, non-restorable tooth (gross caries, advanced periodontal disease, pulp necrosis, apical infection), symptomatic partially erupted tooth, traumatic position, orthodontic indications

Upper straights, universals, roots, R/L molars
Lower universals, roots, molars, cowhorns

Loosen tooth, easier for forceps to remove

Ibuprofen, paracetamol

Rinse mouth with warm salty water. Damp gauze x2, 30mins each - then contact practice/A&E

Same day BP rise, hot/hard foods, smoking

Verbal and written (with emergency contacts)
