Amenable (ADJ) -
1. I have always found Addie cooperative and most amenable.

Abated (V) -
1. The wind had abated so they went outside to survey the damage.

A: intensify
Abated (V) - (of something perceived as hostile, threatening, or negative) become less intense or widespread.
Embolden (V) -
1. The president was emboldened by the discovery that he faced no opposition.
2. I emboldened my brother to try out for the school play.

A: discourage
