8th Grade Science Flashcards

1
Q

How was the Solar System Formed?

A

A cloud of dust and gasses started to be pulled together and rotate. Over time the dust and gasses flattened into a disk where the sun formed in the middle. As the remaining gasses and dust ran into each other they formed the planets.

Q

How did Earths Layers Form

A

During Earth’s molten faze, larger denser rocks and materials were pulled towards the center of the Earth b gravity which pushed the smaller objects towards the top.
