Save the Children which was established in 1919, has a global presence of 120 countries and is based in London. Their main goal is to aide as many children in need as their name implies. They do this by, helping in a variety of areas such as health where they help millions of children around the world by providing them clean water to prevent diseases caused by poor cleanliness and bacteria in the water making it contaminated from drinking. Education is another important area as too many young boys and girls are raised in either remote areas or in tumultuous places lacking in basic resources and qualified teachers. Also saving lives when emergency situation occurs like a natural disaster or war because this is when children are more vulnerable to violence, starvation and trauma and need aide.

Amnesty International was established in 1961, has a global presence of 150+ countries and is based in the UK. Their main goal is protecting human rights specifically those of prisoners across the world. A few of the ways that they have been advocating for them are: working to release prisoners of conscience who were unfairly and discriminatorily detained. The fair and swift trials of political prisoners and people who are incarcerated without trial or reason. Also prisoners who are subjugated to torture, inhumane and cruel treatment or receiving the death penalty to be released.
