What is NIC?
Network Interference Controller which must be present in the device for enabling it to communicate over other devices. Sometimes these are physical parts which are plugged in
What is MAC address
Media Access Control address which is a unique address in which devices can be identified
What is Switch
Switch contains multiple ports to connect various devices together and stores their MAC address to send and receive data through an ethernet cable
What is router
It connects different networks together and provides access to the internet
What are the types of transmission?
Serial transmission
parallel transmission
What is echo check
It is the method to find errors in the data transmission, by sending the same data received and checking if it’s the same data using an algorithm
What is operating system
It is responsible for managing all Hardwares and software. It provides interference to the user to interact with the computer
