what’s the difference b/w OCD and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder?
OCD is marked by obsessions and compulsions that are time-consuming, distressing, and impairing. Obsessions are recurrent, intrusive, and undesired thoughts, and compulsions are behaviors that patients perform to relieve the obsessions. Patients with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder do not have distressing obsessions and compulsions.
