What is the youngest age of passengers we carry
Infants > 2 weeks
From and until what age is a passenger considered a child?
From 2 years until and including 13 years
How old does somebody need to be to accompany a child?
16 years, and taking full responsibility for the child.
No other passengers may be asked to act as responsible
What kind of company do a group of children (10 or more) need to be able to travel?
1 adult (16 years or older) , atleast in a ratio of 1:10.
When is a passenger considered an infant?
From 2 weeks - to less than 2 years.
Does easyJet carry deceased passengers?
EasyJet does not accept human remains for carriage on any route. Carriage of ashes is permitted, provided a copy of the death certificate and cremation certificate accompany them.
It must be securely packaged and carried in their cabin baggage.
Are we allowed to carry aircraft spares?
Yes, but only for easyJet aircraft. No dangerous goods, no more than 60 kg, not from and to Switzerland.
Delivered ánd picked up by engineers.

Do we carry musical instruments?
Yes, accepted when the instruments fits the dimensions of the overhead locker. If it can not be combined with the other hand baggage, one small additional hand piece is allowed.
For bigger items the customer must purchase and extra seat. Item to be secured there with cg not higher than 30 cm from seat.
Are we allowed to use heated water to de-ice?
Only as first step in a two-step procedure.
How and in what time is deicing reported and in what time. And how is it entered in the techlog
Reported by referring to the last step in the procedure. By the type, concentration and time in local.

Are we allowed to fly visual approaches at night?
Yes
What checks need to be done before entering MNPS?
- A time check
- a NAV accuracy check if not GPS Primary
- RVSM altimeter check (on ground 75 from reference, in air 200ft between primary altimeters)
- SELCAL check
- oceanic clearance obtained as required
If you offset yourself by how much , without being able to inform atc, do you need to start changing level?
By more then 10 nm, 300 ft
Easterly - left - -300ft descent
- right - 300 ft climb
Westerly - right - 300 ft descent
- left - 300 ft climb
What takes precedence over a TCAS RA?
A stall warning, windshear warning or GPWS.
When is “landing assured”?
If in the judgement of the captain, the landing can be completed in the event of any forecast deterioration of weather and plausible single failures of ground and/or airborne facilities. E.g. Cat2/3 to cat 1.
What are the actions after a lightning strike?
Check radio communications, navigational equipment and weather radar. On the ground, enter in techlog and an inspection by qualified engineer is required.
By how far should we avoid thunderstorms?
20 nm at least horizontally, preferably upwind.
