What was the Morley Minto reforms?

A

Viceroy Minto introduced a limited programmes of reforms in 1909 to appease the Bengalis.

1909: The Indian council act allowed 27 Indians to be elected into the viceroys council.

1910 voting act meant 135 Indians could secure seats and play a role in their future.
