You are presented with the following patient and here is there list of current medications. Which medications should be stopped and why?
A
Stop:
- ACE inhibitor and Aspirin- kidney function
- Furosemide- patient= dehydrated
- Furosemide, ISMN, Oxybutynin and Digoxin= Anticholinergics –> side effect= urinary retention and constipation
- Aspirin should not be being used with apixiban (anticoagulant)
