What is a hazard?

What does corrosive mean?
It means that it can destroy living tissue, attack stonework and metal and cause great harm to the environment.
What does it mean to dilute an acid and/or alkali?
This means it has been added a certain amount of water that makes it less dangerous.
What type of hazards are diluted acids and/or alkalis?
They are (normally) irritants.
Are all acids and/or alkalis dangerous?
Yes, although some less than others, e.g phosphoric acid is an acid in soda drinks used to add the bubbles and a bit of flavour, they can cause tooth decay
