When do we need to accomplish the Aborted Engine Start checklist QRH?

A

For one or more of the following:

  • O: Oil Pressure rise does not occur
  • F: FF is abnormally high or fluctuating
  • E: EGT does not increase by 20 secs after FUEL CONTROL switch is moved to RUN
  • N: N1 fails to increase after EGT rise
  • E: EGT quickly nears or exceeds the start limit
  • O: Oil pressure indication is not normal by the time the engine is stabilized at idle

  • Starting EGT peaks
  • N2 RPM 60% or greater (enables full EEC authority)
