Salvation is not something we earn, but something we become.

As godliness increases within the soul, we cease to create separation from God through sin. The veil of forgetfulness fades and we grow closer to the oneness of Father’s light.

Truth 2 - Transformation and Redemption Through the Atonement

To dwell with our heavenly parents requires spiritual transformation through the atonement of Jesus Christ. Because of the Savior’s divine sacrifice, we can be cleansed from all sin and redeemed from the fall.

Process of Overcoming the Fall

When we choose such a lifestyle of obedience we enter into a process of ever-incresing light and truth and understanding. Every opportunity to sin, or to be selfish, or to yield to temptation is met with faith, and the choice is made again and again to yield to truth
Such a life is a life of repentance. Such a life is a life of faith. Such a life is a life of joy. Repentance is not limited to refusing to choose evil. It is also choosing to embrace godliness and to act Christ-life in dispensing grace to others. It is quite literally, to repent of the human condition.
