Q

What is a vitalograph

A

More sophisticated than peak flow

Patient breaths out as quickly as they can through a mouthpiece and Intrument produces a graph of results

Q

What is vital capacity

A

Volume of air that can be breathed in when the strongest possible exhalation is followed by deepest possible intake of breath

Q

What is inspiratory and expiratory reserve volume

A

IRV - max vol of air you can breath in after normal inhalation
