Chandragupta Maurya fought one of Alexander the Greats generals, and won, and started the Mauryan empire.

An empire started by Chandra Gupta, who married a girl from a royal family, it was a five hundred year gap from when the Mauryan empire fell until the Gupta empire.

A ruler who had his wife help rule because she ruled with an iron fist. He was trying to promote Islam, but was tolerant of the other religions.

A Mughal ruler who hated competition, so he killed all his enemies, but the empire was getting weaker under his rule due to famine
Aurangzeb
The most violent and cruel ruler that imprisoned his father and killed his older brother. He made a tax for Hindus, and only wanted to have Islam be the religion. The empire got weaker during his rule.
