a polygon with all sides congruent (equal) and all angles congruent (equal)
irregular polygon
a polygon with all sides NOT congruent (not equal) and all angles NOT congruent (not equal)
trapezoid
a quadrilateral with exactly 1 pair of parallel sides. the arrows indicate parallel sides
parallellogram
is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel
rectangle
a parallelogram with four right angles
rhombus
a parallelogram with four congruent sides
square
a parallelogram with four right angles and four congruent sides
