Protagonist
The leading character in a novel.
Plot
The events (exposition,rising action ,climax,falling action ,and resolution.
Antagonist
The opposing force that brings conflict to the protagonist
complications (conflict)
The struggle between opposing forces .This drives the story.
Exposition
The first part of the plot
Inciting incident
The event that sets the story in motion.
Rising action
main part of the story

the end of the story
Foreshadow
Hints or clues suggesting what may happen in the story
Cliffhanger
An ending to a section, chapter , or book that leaves the reader wondering
Flashback
The anxiety reader feels about what may happen next in a story
Suspense
Interrupting the plot of the story to re-create an incediant from an earlier time
