A piece of land that is SURROUNDED by 3 SIDES of WATER.

A MAN MADE WATER WAY for SHIPS and BOATS

A area of WATER that is LOWER than its SURROUNDING AREA.
What is a delta?
A RIVER or LAKES DRAINAGE OF WATER INTO THE OCEAN.
How is a delta formed?
The DEPOSITION of SAND or ROCKS in the SPACE BETWEEN A RIVER/LAKE AND OCEAN
What is an archipelago?
A GROUP of ISLANDS in a SMALL AREA.
What is a plateau?
A FLAT PICE OF LAND that is HIGHER than its SURROUNDING AREA.
What is a bay?
A BODY OF WATER SURROUNDED by 3 SIDES of LAND.
What is a strait?
A NARROW STRIP OF LAND that CONNECTS 2 LARGER LAND MASSES.
What is a dam?
A MAN-MADE construction that was built to KEEP WATER FROM GETTING OUTSIDE OF IT.
