with a little 3, cubed, because that’s how many cubes fit in it, it’s for a 3-D shape
What is the formula for area of a triangle?
base times height divided by 2
What is the formula for area of a rectangle?
length times width
What is the formula for area of a square?
side times side
What is the general volume formula?
V=Bh = area of the base shape times the height of the figure
What is the formula for volume of a rectangular prism?
V=lxwxh = length times width times height
How do you multiply fractions?
straight across
What do you have to do to mixed numbers before you multiply them?
change them to improper
how do you change improper back to a mixed number?
divide
