Separation anxiety
Excessive anxiety when separating from major attachment figures.
Panic disorder
People have feelings of terror that strike suddenly and repeatedly with no reason
Obsessive compulsive disorder
People with obsessive compulsive disorder are plagued by constant thoughts and fears. Example: to perform certain rituals or routines like a person with an unreasonable fear of germs who constantly washes his hands.
Post traumatic stress disorder PTSD
A condition that develops following a Trumatic and or terrifying event. This could be the results of sexual or physical assault, an unexpected death of a loved one, or a natural disaster
Social anxiety disorder
Also known as social phobia it involves overwhelming worry and self-consciousness about every day social situations
The worry often centers on a fear of being judged by others. it also entails fear of behaving in a way that may cause embarrassment or the two ridicule.
Specific phobias
An intense fear of a specific object or situation. this can include snakes Heights or flying.
The level of fear is usually in appropriate to the situation or object
such fear may cause a person to avoid common every day situations
Generalized anxiety disorder
This disorder involves excessive unrealistic worry
excessive unrealistic tension
note that these occur even if there is little or nothing to provoke the anxiety
Course Of PTSD
PTSD symptoms persist for more than three months in90% of the population
PTSD symptoms persist for more than one year in70% of the population
1/3 the population never really recover
Course of OCD
People with OCD may experience waxing and waning course. about 5% have an episode course within the minimal or no symptoms between episodes. progressive deterioration in occupational and social functioning may occur 90% of patients can expect to have moderate to marked improvements with an afternoon treatment

Relaxing certain muscles to reduce tension and anxiety provoking situations such as back ribs shoulder and deep tissue massages

Helping client to partialize or compartmentalize complex situations that cause anxiety
