How does classical liberalism view human nature?
So classical liberalism has a more positive view of human nature. Rejects the idea that war is inevitable, believes that anarchy does not necessitate to war, and places an emphasis on the possibility of peace
What are the core elements of the liberal worldview?

- Popular sovereignty(democracy)
- The right to private property
- Capitalism (free-market)
According to Locke, what is life like in the state of nature?
- He said that in anarchy we would not go into a state of war.
- Believes in equality of men but not insecurity (as in we are all equally insecure)
- Believes in human rights (life, liberty, and property)
- All men may act to punish those that violate the state of law
From the liberal perspective, what is the relationship between freedom and conflict?
Freedom produces peace (realism believe that freedom produces war)

The idea that all people by virtue of their shared humanity are vested with certain inalienable rights, such as life, liberty, and property. It’s related to liberalism because liberalism believes that it is the government’s job to protect man’s natural rights
What is economic interdependence? How is it argued to influence conflict and cooperation?
Economic interdependence refers to the relationship between 2 sects where each of them is dependent on the other for the supply of necessary goods and services.
Economic interdependence lowers the likelihood of war by increasing the value of trading over alternative methods.
What is Kant’s argument about the Pacific Union?
He believes that a state of peace exists between democratic countries but not between democratic countries + anarchical countries. Violence is not permitted against democratic states however violence against non-democratic states is.
