Soufflé cup
Small paper cup (or translucent plastic) used for solid forms or medication. (Tablets and capsules)
Medicine cup
Used for oral administration of liquid medication. Includes a 30mL or 1oz cup made of plastic.
Calibrated dropped
Used to administer small amounts (less than 5mL - 1tsp) to an adult or child. Calibration are usually in mL but can be in drops.
Nipple
An infant feeding nipple with additional holes may be used for administering oral medications to infants.
Oral Syringe
Used to administer liquid medications orally to adults and children. No needle is attached.
Parenteral syringe
Used for IM, ID, IV, and subcut medications. These come in various sizes in Units or mL. Barrel holds the medication and has calibrations. The Needle is attached to the tip. Plunger pushes medication out.
