Q

Description

A

Design option are evaluated by comparing the potential value of each option to the other options. Each option has mix of advantages and disadvantages to consider
May be no best option to recommend or may be clear best choice
May be all proposed design rejected and more analysis to define a suitable -> the best recommendation is to do nothing

Q

Elements 3

A
  1. Determine value
Potential value of a solution to a sh is based on the benefits delivers by that solution and associated costs
Value can be positive or negative

Value to enterprise heavily than value for any individual sh

Potential value is uncertain value

Benefit describe as in tangible, costs expressed as tangible -> difficult for decision making

Elements 4

A
  1. Assess design options and recommend solution
    Factor ro consideration:
    - available resources: limitation based on allocation resources, some case Ba can be developed to justify add investment
    - constraints on the solution
    - dependencies between reqs
