Q

How to make a law

A

It is written down, given a number, given a public reading, assigned to a committee( you have to send it to a committee that has something to do with it), then it has to get voted on
After sending through the house, you have to go to the senate and do the whole process again, after this they would have to have identical conclusion,
They have a joint committee to decide on it then they have to send it through both house and senate again
If it makes it pass that then it has to go to the president (if signed then it is immediately put into law) if not signed it is sent back to Congress and if it voted by ⅔ (66%) it gets put in law
Someone can challenge this in court, Supreme Court has 9 people in it. If is doesn’t go against the constitution the law is thrown out but if not the law stands as is.
You can change the supreme court by changing the constitution by getting Congress to vote (75%) you can also get (75%) of the states and it can be changed.
