How is temptation presented at the Fall?
Temptation is presented in the form of a serpent.
What elements did temptation consisted of? (The fall)
Doubt - Did God really say…? (Genesis 3:1)
Disbelief - you will not surely die… (v. 4)
Desire - you will be like God… Knowing good and evil… (v. 5)
Disobedience - took some and ate it… (v. 6)
Was evil present before the fall?

Sin - uses of the word
missing the Mark - Hamartia (over 600 times in the Bible) Judges 20:6 - the phrase suggests a mistakes that is done willfully - always sin against God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)
Irreligious - frequently in the NT - to reverence something that isn’t God (1 Corinthians 6:9)
Transgression - “to cross over or to pass by.” Going beyond the limits Matthew 15:2-3
Rebellion - 1 Kings 12:19, Isaiah 1:20, Ezequiel 2:3
Perversion - twisted, crooked, contrary to divine righteousness (Leviticus 19:15)
Causes of Sin
Ignorance - where we get our word agnostic
“To err, to be ignorant” Romans 1:13, Galatians 1:22
Error - “to go stray.” Isaiah 28:7, Ezequiel 34:6
Inattention - “to hear amiss or incorrectly. To refuse to listen.” Romans 5:19, Hebrews 2:2-3, Matthew 18:17

We believe that our first parents were created in a state of Innocency, but by their Disobedience they lost their Purity and Happiness, and that in Consequence of their Fall all men have become Sinners, totally depraved, and as such are justly exposed to the wrath of God
