fetus for the purpose of saving the life of the mother.
Indirect/ therapeutic abortion-
known as “mercy killing”
Euthanasia-
is the act of assisting
terminally ill patient to commit suicide
Active euthanasia-
is a case where the
life-saving terminally ill person are intentionally
not pursued.
Passive euthanasia-
refers to the of voluntary/intentionally taking
away one’s life
Suicide-
anyone who hates his brother is a
murderer (1: John 3:15)
Anger-
such as smoking, excessive
drinking of liquor, use of illegal drugs
Vices-
otherwise known as
“self-defense” adheres to the principle of double
effect, which allows the use of lawful violence, to
maintain peace and security
Legitimate defense

life of a mother
