Define policies
Are documents that broadly outline the rules and regulations that must be followed by those in an organisation. If a person doesn’t abide by the policies they can be terminated or fined.
Define procedures
They are the steps/actions taken to complete a process. These steps are usually taken to create a policy for businesses.

What are the 7 steps taken to develop a policy?
1) identify the issue
2) Research the business environments
3) Consult stakeholders
4) Draft policies (to be reviewed by stakeholders)
