A

Taxonomy is the science of classifying organism based on shared characteristics (or taxa) More Taxa more closely related.

Taxa: Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order Family Genus, Species

Animal; Animalia, Chordata, Mammalia, Primate, Hominidae, Homo, Sapiens

Plant; Plantae, Angiosperm, Eudicotidae, Ranunculacae, Ranunculus, acris

1. Eukarya (all eukaryotic organism)
2. Archaea (prokaryotic extremophiles)
3. Eubacteria (common pathogenic bacteria)

Natural Classification

A

Natural Classification involves grouping organism according to common ancestry than by common characteristics.
This allows species to be identified by their evolutionary pathways and enables the prediction of traits within a group.
