Stimulus
The stimulus is a change in the environment that brings about a response in an organism
Reaction
The response shown by any organism towards or away from the stimulus is called reaction
Glandular system
The system of various glands is called the glandular system
Exocrine glands
The glands that secrete enzymes and juices and pour this secretion in the duct to an organ are called exocrine gland
Endocrine gland
The glands that secrete hormones and pour directly into the blood stream without passing through ducts are known as endocrine gland
Endocrine system
The system formed by a group of ductless glands which produce hormones and releases them into the bloodstream is known as endocrine system
Pituitary gland
The pituitary gland is a pea-shaped gland present at the base of the brain, below the hypothalamus
Growth hormone
The hormone that stimulates cell division and helps in the growth of bones, fat and muscles of the body is called growth hormone

Gigantism is a condition in which the person is tall or broad abnormally
Acromegaly
Acromegaly is a condition in the person has abnormal growth of hands, feet and face
Thyroid gland
The bi-lobed present on either side of the trachea in the neck is called the thyroid gland
Parathyroid gland
The four glands present on either lobe of the thyroid gland in the neck are called parathyroid gland
Pancreas
The pancreas is the largest gland of the human body located behind the stomach, attached to the duodenum
Adrenal glands
The two glands present on the top of each kidney that helps in an emergency is called adrenal glands
