What to look for in urine tests?

A

If glucose present, something is wrong. ALL glucose should be reabsorbed by the PCT
If ketones present, the person may have diabetes
If proteins present, the person’s BP may be too high, or kidney infection
If nitrate ions present, bacterial infection of urinary tract
