They provide a good understanding of relationships with all stakeholders
They are like they sales people they connect the organization to their customers and seeing what the demand for a product is.

A shared understanding of the organization vision
upper management, they take all the outputs from the other departments so that they can look at what they can do in the future and how they can improve
Describe the purpose this value chain activity: Obtain/Build
Service components are available when and where they are needed, and that they meet agreed specifications
The part of the company that goes and buys things, such as hardware, software, or licenses
They order things for the company
Describe the purpose this value chain activity: Design and Transition
Products and services meet expectations for quality, costs, and time to market
Programmers, developers, engineers the people who design the products for the company. So when another part of the company has an idea, Design makes it a reality
Describe the purpose this value chain activity: Deliver and Support
Services are delivered and supported according to agreed specifications and stakeholders’ expectations
They support the product after it has been sold, any updates that can be pushed that design has come up with, support would implement that fix. if they need warranty or replacement, support would do that.
Support ensures that the customer has a smooth product experience

continual improvement of products, services, and practices
sees where things go wrong and fixes it so that issue doesn’t happen in the future
or if there are better ways to do what is already being done
