What is a Theory of Change?

A

A theory of change helps an organization understand what it is trying to achieve. It uses targets and milestones to show how a logical process can lead to impact. It explains how a given intervention, or set of interventions, is expected to lead to specific development change, drawing on a causal analysis based on available evidence.

A

Management practice that incorporates the use of outcomes or results into the administration, management, and operation of community action agencies. It uses benchmarks and statistical analysis to ensure program quality, effectiveness, and equity.
