  • passes inferolaterally crossing anterior scalene, phrenic nerve, subclavian artery, brachial plexus,
  • run laterally posterior and parallel to clavicle
  • over scapular ligament to supraspinous fossa
  • then laterally to soine to infraspinous fossa

  • participate in oeriarticular arteial anastomoses around elbow joint

  • superior to brachial plexus
  • through scapular notch deep to transvers scapular ligament
  • supraspinatus, infraspinatus, glenohumeral joint

  • terminal branch of posterior cord
  • receiving fibers from C5
  • exits axillary fossa posteriorly, passing through auDrangular space with posterior circumflex humeral artery
  • give rise to sulerior lateral brachial cutaneous nerve
  • winds around surgical neck deep to deltoid

-glennumeral joint, teres minor, deltoid, skin of superolateral arm
