Obscurity
(N.): 1. The state or condition of being dark or dim
Ex. The obscurity of her soul was frightening.
2. The state or condition of being unknown
3. That which is obscure
Interact
(V.): 1. To react to one another in a social situation
Ex. I was interacting with my neighbor yesterday.
2. To have an effect on or modify one another
Embark
(V.): 1. To put or take aboard a ship or aircraft.
2. To involve or invest in a venture.
Ex. We want to embark on a trip to Mars.
3. To board a ship, esp. to begin a voyage.
4. To set out on or begin some venture (usu. fol. by on).
Stench
(N.): An unpleasant or foul odor, stink.
Ex. There was a unique stench at school today.
Disorient
(V.): 1. To cause to lose one’s bearings or sense of direction
2. To cause mental confusion in; distort one’s perceptions, sense of identity, or the like
Ex. I woke up disoriented.
Exert
(V.): 1. To exercise or bring to bear (power, influence, or the like); put into action.
2. To force (oneself) into vigorous or strenuous effort.
Ex. He exerted himself too much and passed out on the court.
