What should you do if you suspect someone might be having a heart attack or stroke?
Check for hazards and call 911.
While waiting for the ambulance what are some things you can do to make a person more comfortable?
PLT
Position the person in a comfortable place(Sitting or lying down).
Loosen tight clothes.
Talk to and reassure the person.
What should you do until the ambulance gets there and what information about the person should you give the paramedics when they arrive?
- Be visible, move obstructions.
- Collect medications.
- Ask for allergies.
Resuscitate.
30 Compressions.
Open airway.
2 Breaths.
Defibrillation with AED.
