Nam some site security measures
Locking the buildings and rooms when not in use, particularly the server room
Why is it important to lock the server room?
Access to the physical server will enable an attacker to do enormous damage
Why are biometric and card locks preferable?
They enable a log of who is locking and unlocking the door to get in and out
List some biometric locks
Optical, fingerprint, facial, voice
Some limitations of using biometrics or key cards
Keycards can be stolen or cloned. Biometric systems are very expensive
Benefits and limitations of security guards
They are expensive, but can identify suspicious behaviour in strange circumstances.
Other then locks and surveillance, what is another mitigation for a physical breach
Door and window armed alarms
What is a protection measure against exposed network cabling
Extra layers such as woven wire or mesh to prevent it getting cut
What is a method for protecting portable devices such as hard drives and laptops
Lockers or cabinets
